TGB- What Matters Most

Messing around with the Binary tool in SAI after reading too much Homestuck... I don't even know what this style is. XDD It was really fun though, if time-consuming. Mind you, this pic makes little to no sense if you think about it literally, so keep in mind that this is a very symbolic piece. |D


Now, exposition tiiime!

If you look over on the right side, you will see Orro and Snowflake in a semi-awkward hug pose. I imagine the story behind this would be something along the lines of, Snowflake tells Orro about the Rebellion during one of their border meetings, and how Earth and Fire are offering a safe haven to any cats who do not wish to fight. He asks Orro to come back with him to Earth tribe. Orro considers it, but eventually turns him down. He knows that he would be safer there, and things would probably be a lot easier, but having finally had some perspective knocked into him by a certain few feisty females, he decides that he wants to hold a more active part in the war. He wants to protect what's important to him with his own two paws, including his Tribe-members, who are still under the power of psycho Killian. So basically what this is showing, is Orro going 'I love you, but in order to protect you, I have to stay here.'

On the left, we have the body of the deceased deputy, Francis. Obviously this makes even less sense, how is Shadow right next to Earth right next to Water, but let's take it with a grain of salt. XD Miria has no idea what happened to her mate, or how he died. All she knows is that her anchor is gone, and as overly dramatic as it is, she feels has nothing left. The Spirits have taken everything from her- Her tribe, her mate, her future. She's a mess right now. But no matter what happens, she will never forget Francis, and what he did for her. This shows her walking away from the life she had, and could have had, leaving the 'flower' as a last gift to him.
